  Categories: Events

The Large Zagreb Music Hall, Vatroslav Lisinski, was the only suitable interior to accommodate all Ericsson Nikola Tesla employees, those coming from Zagreb and Split, and Sarajevo, to gather together for their annual meeting. After some two and a half hour of the “meeting”, when the official program ended, the opinion of majority of attendees can be summarized in a sentence: “We have learned many new things and it was again interesting, unusual and quite different”.

The exchange of impressions about the gathering, which was divided in two parts, will be present among participants still for some time. The first part of the gathering began with MSc Gordana Kovačević, addressing the audience. She looked back to the most important business results in 2013 and highlighted that the company, being within the global Ericsson family, is an active participant in creating the modern telecom trends and encourages positive changes in the society. The president also explained the business environment and global trends, pointing out the expectations, the strategy, goals and priorities for the year to come. Regardless of the strong pressure from markets and changes in business policy of our customers, we preserved our position and are going on with investment into creative and advanced solutions and services. Ericsson Nikola Tesla uses the state-of-the-art equipment, invests into its employees competence development, as well as into the working conditions, and hence, in the environment of constantly growing unemployment rate at the national level, the company employed 120 professionals during this year, only.

AudienceThe new business opportunities and strengthening the competitiveness in the conditions of transformation and modernization of networks, as well as the data traffic growth, have been based on the permanent adjustments to the market need, innovativeness and team work, along with the development of awareness about the need of the socially responsible business performance.
Creative, motivated and persevered employees with their responsible and focused management, all under the strong leadership are considered important elements of a formula, which, regardless of many challenges, can explain this continuous success of the company both home and abroad.

The future society will be a networked one, and this networking will change lives of all of us, having the positive impact to people and environment protection.
