Ericsson Nikola Tesla hosted PMI Croatia members

  Categories: Events

The May gathering of PMI Croatia members, a voluntary non-profit professional organization that promotes development and improvement of project management in Croatia that was held in Ericsson Nikola Tesla, one of the founders of our national PMI branch, has confirmed a strong project management culture in the company with more than 60 active professional Project Managers.

The gathered members of the association that has a global presence in as many as 180 countries were welcomed on behalf of the host by Vesna Hitrec, PMI member. Snježana Ivezić-Torbarina, manager at Ericsson Nikola Tesla gave a brief company presentation with the emphasis on project management and implementation, innovativeness and investment in people as keys to success.

Following the introductory, there were two more interesting presentations. Goran Streny spoke about concrete experiences of the company's project team from their work on the Central Healthcare Information System of the Republic of Croatia (Croatian abbreviation: CEZIH), after which Bruno Buljubašić introduced the attendees to little secrets of indisputably important skills of negotiating and managing stress reactions.

The organization and the success of this gathering have confirmed once again that the ICT sector capitalizes on its undisputable status of the sector with the largest number of PMI members in its daily business practice.
