Ericsson Nikola Tesla Expands BH Telecom 3G network

MSc Nedžad Rešidbegović, BH Telecom Director General, and MSc Gordana Kovačević, Ericsson Nikola Tesla President, signed a contract regarding the expansion of the existing 3G radio access network in the territory of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina on July 30, in Sarajevo. The contract's value is almost MHRK 28, and it encompasses the delivery of Ericsson cutting edge 3G equipment and the supporting services.

The contract's value is almost MHRK 28, and it encompasses the delivery of Ericsson cutting edge 3G equipment and the supporting services.

By realizing this contract, BH Mobile network will be enriched with 120 new base stations, which will provide BH Telecom users an even better and a more quality service, and set the foundations for new and more advanced services.
 
Nedžad Rešidbegović stated: “I am very glad that this deal was won by our long-term partner, Ericsson Nikola Tesla, in a public and a transparent international tender and in the competition with other big global vendors in the telecommunication segment. Until now, Ericsson Nikola Tesla has worked on our network construction and knows its capabilities very well. Thus, I expect that this contract will be delivered in time and to the satisfaction of both BH Telecom and our users. “

Gordana Kovačević highlighted: “I am happy that on this occasion as well, the competitiveness and the quality of our products and services was recognized. I believe that the previous quality collaboration with BH Telecom is a good pledge for the future and that we will deliver the solutions, customized to its needs, to this telecommunication leader in the future, thus enabling the state-of-the-art communication services to BH Mobile network users.
 
After the contract signing ceremony, BH Telecom Director General, accompanied by the Board members and the guests from Ericsson, hosted a tour of the new office building.
