Rebuilding by Knowledge

Ericsson Nikola Tesla Innovation Day 2014 showed, in a way fully in line to its title, a very broad specter of Ericsson Nikola Tesla employees’ professional playfulness, aside with a high level of social responsibility and expressed solidarity with the people of the areas hit by catastrophic flooding this year.

More than thirty innovations were realized at fourteen innovation points, and they included a series of improvements: from improving the functionalities of the most cutting edge technologies, commercially still not available in the European market; to a brand new use of data, which large operators have for years, but have just now shown the full potential to create added value to business. In the accompanying humanitarian action, “Rebuilding by Knowledge  – add your brick for the medical clinic“, numerous employees from Ericsson Nikola Tesla Zagreb location, walked through the entire innovation setup and collected a load of symbolic bricks, i.e. correct answers to the questions asked. After the second round of humanitarian action, which will be held in Split, the company shall convert the collected bricks into real funds, intended to rebuild the medical clinic in Gunja.

A well-attended lecture, held by Korad Korelević, an educator and an astronomer, under the title “The Magic of Creative Thinking“,  was an encouraging and a creative introduction into the Innovation Day.
