Spirit of the Entrepreneurship – Values in Leadership

On Earth Day, a conference “The Spirit of Entrepreneurship – Values in Leadership” was held. In the panel discussion “The Entrepreneurial Spirit, Based on 3E (Ethics, Ecology, Economy – values as strategic guidelines in life and business)”, MSc. Gordana Kovačević, president of Ericsson Nikola Tesla, participated.

The idea of ​​the project was created as a result of the crisis of moral and leadership with the inadequacy of education and media coverage of the topic. The intention is that the values ​​that make us a human, become guideline for the social, and then also for the business life.

Sir Isaac TigrettSpecial guest of the conference was Sir Isaac Tigrett, founder and creator of the global chain Hard Rock Cafe and the House of Blues, which has through his life of a successful entrepreneur presented principles to act in accordance with high ethical values ​​and helping the community. The lecture "Why do we need spiritual based leadership in business?" was held by Luk Bouckaert, Professor Emeritus of the Catholic University of Leuven in Belgium, an expert in the field of spirituality and entrepreneurship. Ph.D. Velimir Srića, author of many books on the subject of the modern leadership held a lecture on "Harmonious leadership - new paradigm" and led a panel discussion on "The Entrepreneurial Spirit, Based on 3E (Ethics, Ecology, Economy - value as strategic guidelines in life and business". The panel discussion was attended by MSc. Gordana Kovačević, president of Ericsson Nikola Tesla, Ph. D. Elvira Mlivić Budeš, a consultant and FILAKS founder, mag. Lenja Faraguna, a marketing expert from Slovenia, Professor Vladimir Gruden, an esteemed psychologist, Goran Becker, HAMAG BICRO Management Board Member and Goran Pejaković, head of the O.A.Z.A. association for ecology and sustainable development. President of Ericsson Nikola Tesla pointed out: "In a dynamic market competition, we have to think about fundamental values ​​and people.  Therefore, for myself, from the perspective of a leader, is important, that I, as a human, am satisfied with my own actions. The leaders of today must have a vision and work on it to turn it into reality. In achieving this vision, together with the leader, the most important are competent, responsible and creative employees. I try to build a community of happy people, to share information and to be a quality leader, and above all to be a good human. At first place, I take care about the people and the integrity of the company." In the end, she added: "We must believe in ourselves and let's start with the positive changes today."
 

Panel discussion


The panelists concluded that the growth of the business is primarily thanks to responsible personal development and the power of a leader who conduct these activities in accordance with high ethical principles and commitment to create new value for businesses and the wider community. The conference has sent out an important message: "Good people do good work" and promoted the selection of human values ​​as the strategic direction of business in order to be successful and sustainable in the business.
