Ericsson Nikola Tesla Wins CSR Grand Prix

The Award of the Croatian Employers' Association (CEA) was established within the EU project “Corporate Social Responsibility for All” (CSR for ALL) as an important CEA activity, which encourages the application of CSR principles in the business performance of member companies. The companies that in a way represent an example to others have registered approximately 100 high-quality projects. For CEA, all the projects are winners, because they contribute to the development of society and economy, and in the future, they expect an even greater number of registered projects, based on high-quality practice.
The awards are granted to the companies that had the best projects in 2015, regarding the care for employees, community and the environment in the categories of small, medium and large companies. This year, an additional award was introduced, for promoting corporate social responsibility within the supply chain. The highest recognition, the CSR Grand Prix is granted to the company that best incorporates CSR in its overall business.
During award ceremony, held at CEA premises, the President of the Republic of Croatia, Mrs. Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović, supported the promotion of good practice and together with the Association’s management, presented the awards. The President of the Republic of Croatia, Mrs. Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović, highlighted: "Economic, social and development policies are the issues of special importance in today’s society. It is necessary to begin implementing comprehensive reforms that will facilitate business and make Croatia more attractive for business to both domestic and foreign entrepreneurs. This is the responsibility of the public sector that has to ensure the development of good business climate, and enable corporate social responsibility. From our part, it is necessary to confirm the general value and not particular goals and interests”.
The winner of the CSR Grand Prix is Ericsson Nikola Tesla. The President of the Republic of Croatia, Mrs. Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović presented the award to Mrs. Gordana Kovačević, the President of Ericsson Nikola Tesla, congratulating on the best comprehensive application of CSR principles in many projects that have the common denominator of strengthening good ideas.
