Croatia Volunteers - Our Employees Join In Activities

In line with our long tradition of corporate social activities that foster sustainable development of society, this year our company joined activities within the project of the Volunteer Centre Zagreb in which volunteers participate in activities that benefit society.

Many companies including ours joined diverse project activities this week (16-21 May), within the Croatia Volunteers event, the focus of which was corporate volunteering.

Employees of Ericsson Nikola Tesla participated in two activities held in the IX secondary school. Our diligent employees joined the IX secondary school volunteers in painting of the stands at the school's playing field, and the first „The Networked Society and us“ workshop in the series that will cover all 1st grade pupils of this school in our neighbourhood was held. Pupils from IX Secondary school, inspired by stories and guidance of our experts with rich experience in mentoring have shown how good ideas that respond to the challenges of Networked Society can be developed in a short time. The ideas included connected spectacles, ice-cream machines, virtual school, smart refrigerator that orders food according to special demands related to parties, holidays or illnesses… The variety of ideas that pupils presented already in this first workshop has shown how the Networked Society can respond to all human needs from the basic ones to education, healthcare and pleasure. Within the framework of Croatia Volunteers event, our employees will also participate in the activity of decoration of communal space in the Children’s Hospital Srebrnjak.
