Ericsson Nikola Tesla Wins Indeks DOP Award

At the eighth conference on corporate social responsibility (CSR), organized by Croatian Business Council for Sustainable Development (HR PSOR) and held on December 1 at the Esplanade Zagreb Hotel, corporate social responsibility awards (Indeks DOP) were presented to the winners. Due to a strategic and encompassing approach, our company has been awarded for the sixth time.

Indeks DOP award was established as a common initiative by Croatian Chamber of Economy (HGK) and HR PSOR with the aim of distinguishing Croatian companies that implement socially responsible practices through all areas of their business operations and with regard to all interest groups. Indeks DOP is a method of assessing social responsibility in Croatian companies, which is based on a ranking system that enables an objective assessment of socially responsible practices in companies and a comparison with the practices employed by others. This is the ninth consecutive year that the Indeks is being awarded.
 
In the category of large companies, Ericsson Nikola Tesla was the winner of the great Indeks DOP prize for the achievements in the application of social responsibility practice.
 
Vivera received the award in the category of medium companies, and the winner among small companies is DVOKUT-ECRO. In the category of public companies, the award went to Plovput. In the area of responsible policy and practice in the work environment, the winner of the award is CEMEX Hrvatska, while Regeneracija won the award for responsible policy and practice in environmental management. Hrvatski Telekom won the award for socially responsible relations with the community. The award for the biggest improvement was awarded to AD Plastik. The novelty introduced at this year’s conference was the category named Special Awards for Human Rights, which was handed out to Podravka.

 Snježana Bahtijari, Director Marketing and Communications (incl. CSR), received the award in the name of the company and did not hide how pleased she was that Ericsson Nikola Tesla has received the Indeks DOP award, in different categories, for the sixth time so far.  Furthermore, she pointed out the importance of corporate social responsibility as a strategic concept, incorporated in the everyday way of working at Ericsson Nikola Tesla and of all the employees towards all interested parties.
