  Categories: Projects

University Department of Professional Studies at the University of Split has started with the implementation of the project “Improvement and implementation of professional practice at the University Department of Professional Studies”, which is co-funded by the EU. Ericsson Nikola Tesla is a project partner in the implementation of this project.

University Department of Professional Studies at the University of SplitThe project aims to establish a service for professional practice whose operational action would improve the support services provided to students, improve professional practice models, increase capacity of the University Department of Professional Studies as well as improve the level of students’ knowledge and skills. It is aimed at teaching and non-teaching staff and students at undergraduate professional study programs and specialist graduate study programs. Enhancing the existing programs will improve the level of quality of study programs and the students’ competences which they need to graduate and enter the labor market.

An important element of a successful realization of the project is a closer cooperation with the business sector. Our company’s contribution, in addition to participation of four other companies, will be focused on identifying the necessary competences and providing support in bringing the existing programs up to date and implementing professional practice. These activities will be undertaken by experts from Ericsson Nikola Tesla working in Split.
