New contract for the maintenance and upgrade of CEZIH

The Ministry of Health and Ericsson Nikola Tesla have entered into a new three-year Contract for the Support, Maintenance and Upgrade of the Central Part Software of the Integral Central Healthcare Information System of the Republic of Croatia (CEZIH).

The contract comprises services of corrective and adaptive maintenance of CEZIH as a system that connects and integrates a great number of different healthcare institutions with the aim of enabling its smooth and continuous operation as well as further improvements and upgrades.

Vili Beroš, Minister of Health, commented on the signing of this contract and pointed out that CEZIH is important as a system of vital public interest, representing the core of healthcare system in the Republic of Croatia. This means that it always has to be properly maintained and ready to meet all users and healthcare workers’ needs, even in case of unexpected and exceptional circumstances.

Gordana Kovačević, president of Ericsson Nikola Tesla, pointed out that the company had been working hard for nearly two decades on implementing domain knowledge from the field of e-health and developing CEZIH. Moreover, Ms Kovačević added that she was proud that the company’s experts would continue to support and improve the system, whose smooth operation contributes to the well-being of all citizens of the Republic of Croatia.
