New contracts signed between Ericsson Nikola Tesla and HT Mostar

Vilim Primorac, president of the Management Board of HT Mostar, and Gordana Kovačević, president of Ericsson Nikola Tesla, signed contracts in Mostar worth more than MHRK 31, for the upgrade and expansion of LTE RAN network, expansion of transmission network, as well as software upgrade and the system expansion for HT Mostar’s wireline switching.

The contracts additionally strengthen the cooperation between the companies and create infrastructure prerequisites for the implementation of the state-of-the-art technologies, thus providing an even more quality services to the end users of HT Mostar.

Vilim Primorac highlights: “We are pleased to continue a very successful cooperation with our strategic partner - Ericsson Nikola Tesla. Owing to the newly contracted equipment, and by respecting the highest security standards, HT Mostar will increase the coverage and capacity of 4G/4G+ network. For our users, this specifically means - better user experience, greater speeds, and the possibility to use new, advanced services, based on LTE technology. This means the latest and most efficient radio technology in the market, and a step closer to 5G network.”

Gordana Kovačević expressed her satisfaction with the signing of new contracts: “The continuation of cooperation with our strategic partner from Bosnia and Herzegovina is a new step in developing HT Mostar’s network, based on Ericsson solutions that our experts will implement in close cooperation with our customers’ experts, which guarantees to the users of HT Mostar the best possible user experience on the road to 5G.
