CareWell Operational Phase Launching

The official start of the operational phase of the three year European project Carewell that was signed last year and is financed by the EU funds from the Competitiveness and Innovation Framework Programme, was marked on Monday, June 29, with a press conference at the premises of Ericsson Nikola Tesla that is a partner of this project in Croatia, together with the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing, University of Zagreb, and the Croatian Society for Pharmacoeconomics and Health Economics. Together with the hosts, the event was attended by numerous respectable scientists and medical workers, members of relevant institutions, as well as by the Minister of Health, Siniša Varga, and Tatjana Prenđa Trupec, the Director of Croatian Health Insurance Fund (CHIF).

The conference “Two Years in the EU – How to Reach Financial Close in the Projects Financed by the EU Funds“, organized by PwC Croatia in cooperation with the business weekly Lider, under the auspices of the European Commission, was held on 16 June 2015 in Zagreb. Given that, the question of financing the entire project is often a challenge when it comes to the EU funds, the organizers' intention was to answer this question during a panel that addressed four crucial interrelated sectors that are important for the Croatian growth and development: energy efficiency and renewable energy resources, urban development, research and innovations and SMEs in the sectors of tourism, production and services.

Annual General Meeting held in Ericsson Nikola Tesla Joint Stock Company

On Tuesday, 2 June 2015, the Annual General Meeting of Ericsson Nikola Tesla Joint Stock Company was held on the Company premises. The equity capital represented at the AGM was HRK 90,879,700 which corresponds to 68.39 % of the total Company's equity, thus satisfying the legal conditions for the meeting to proceed and for its decisions to be legally valid. In the presence of a notary public, the AGM proceedings were conducted by Snježana Bahtijari, the AGM chairperson appointed by the Supervisory Board.

Ericsson Nikola Tesla campaign “Rebuilding by Knowledge“ was caught in the net among the most quality innovative and creative products, together with education, tourism, socially responsible projects, etc. The campaign won the Award “MRAK”, presented by the Network for Development and Creativity (MRAK – Mreža za razvoj i kreativnost), as the best creative and innovative sustainable development project.
