The leading Croatian supplier of ICT solutions, Ericsson Nikola Tesla made a contract with its long-term partner T-Mobile in Montenegro on the upgrade of this operator’s 2G and 3G mobile network. The Montenegro operator, which commits to providing state-of-the art telecommunication solutions to the wide scope of users in both fixed and mobile telephony as well as Internet, is investing in further development of its network in order to remain highly competitive in the very dynamic local telecom market and to attract new subscribers. The contract, valued at 12,7 million kuna was signed in Zagreb on November 9th by Gordana Kovačević, president of Ericsson Nikola Tesla and Daniel Szasz, chairman of the Board of Directors of Crnogorski Telekom, a company to which T-Mobile in Montenegro belongs.
On this occasion D. Szasz commented: „We are very pleased that we have contracted a new job with our long-term partner, Ericsson Nikola Tesla. Considering a very positive experience that we have so far had with this partner we expect that this new contract on the upgrade of our mobile network will enable us to offer our subscribers better service and more modern service portfolio. When a few months ago I took over as the chairman of the Board of Directors of Crnogorski Telekom I joined the company that was already cooperating closely with Ericsson Nikola Tesla, so now this cooperation only needs to be further developed. This contract is one of our joint steps along this way. The Montenegro telecom market is today very dynamic. After the recent entrance of a new mobile operator into the arena we will have to be even more efficient and competitive. This is where reliable partners such as Ericsson Nikola Tesla can help us enormously, especially when state-of-the-art services based on IP technology and 3G services are concerned, for which there is a great deal of interest in Montenegro.“
The president of Ericsson Nikola Tesla, Gordana Kovačević has also briefly commented a new job in Montenegro: „Over a number of years Montenegro is positioned at the top of the list of our most successful export markets. Our solid partnership with T-Mobile in Montenegro and Crnogorski Telekom has a great deal of say in this. We extremely appreciate the aspirations of this operator to offer the end-users in its country the most modern communications services of today, aware that Ericsson’s top quality technology teamed up with our experts’ experience and competencies can accommodate even the most sophisticated customer requirements.“
