The contracts are worth HRK 50 million and will be implemented on the turn-key basis.

”Today’s signing of contracts is very important for technological extension of BH Telecom capability and capacity both in 3G network and IMS service offering platform, which is providing fixed and mobile networks convergence. It is also important because it allows for introduction of seven-digit numbering in BH Telecom mobile network, which will facilitate prepaid and postpaid users database management, since there are over two million users at present“, said Nedžad Rešidbegović, General Director of BH Telecom d.d. ”These contracts are the continuation of Ericsson Nikola Tesla’s growth of sales on the market of neighbouring Bosnia and Herzegovina, which began in the first half of 2010. They are also strengthening our partnership with BH Telecom. The contracts will provide BH Telecom with a higher network capacity as well as faster and better performance of demanding applications. By continuation of cooperation and development of BH Telecom network, which is operating on the state-of-the art telecommunications platform, the biggest operator in Bosnia and Herzegovina will be able to offer its users the most advanced services that significantly impact their satisfaction and provide a solid foundation for economic and social development”, said Gordana Kovačević, President of Ericssona Nikola Tesla d.d.
