Ericsson Nikola Tesla contracts LTE delivery with Armenian Ucom

Ericsson Nikola Tesla and Armenian operator Ucom signed a frame contract for 4G/LTE network roll-out throughout Armenia, including the capital city of Yerevan. The agreement includes radio and core equipment as well as related services. The agreement also covers Ericsson Expert Analytics, a software suite which enables operators to predict customer satisfaction and automatically take closed-loop actions to improve it. With these product solutions, Ucom's network will meet growing end-user expectations. The value of the first phase of the contract is more than MHRK 41.

On the first day of her official visit to Zagreb, March 10, Swedish Minister for Upper Secondary School and Adult Education and Training, Aida Hadžialić, together with her associates and the delegation of the Embassy of Sweden in Croatia, headed by the ambassador Lars Schmidt visited Ericsson Nikola Tesla. The successful partnership with Ericsson corporation, that can be traced long back to 1953, today still represents the strongest bridge of business cooperation and friendship between the Kingdom of Sweden and the Republic of Croatia.

Two EU funded projects successfully completed

The official ceremony to mark the successful closure of two projects co-funded from the Operational Programme Regional Competitiveness 2007-2013 through the RC.2.2.08 Call „Capacity Building for Research, Development and Innovation” was held in Ericsson Nikola Tesla's premises today. Both projects worth almost 11 million Kuna in total (HRK 10,936,535) ran for 16 months during which the participants demonstrated that efficient collaboration between the academic research community and industry partners can give rise to creative and multiply applicable results the value of which transcends the national borders. The project beneficiary of the „Integrated hardware-software system for environmental parameters monitoring in micro locations“(abbreviated to IPPSO) is the Institute for Medical Research and Occupational Health and the beneficiary of the project „Information and communication technology for generic and energy-efficient communication solutions with application in e-/m-health“ (abbreviated to ICTGEN) is the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing. Ericsson Nikola Tesla was the industry partner in both projects.

The closing ceremony of the jubilee 15th Ericsson Nikola Tesla Summer Camp was held on Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at Ericsson Nikola Tesla. Along with students and their mentors, the ceremony gathered numerous Academia representatives led by Prof. Vedran Mornar, PhD, Minister of Science, Education and Sports of the Republic of Croatia. The students and mentors who worked in Summer Camp in Split also followed all the happenings via live stream broadcast.

The meeting of the Subcommittee for Mental Health (SCMH) of the European Association of Hospital Managers (EAHM), whose member is the Croatian Association of Healthcare Employers (CAHE), was held in Zagreb and on the island of Rab in early September 2015. The two-day working programme consisted of a day in Zagreb in CAHE premises and in Ericsson Nikola Tesla, whereas the second day was held at the Rab Psychiatric hospital.
