Latest edition of the Ericsson Mobility Report foresees 2.6 billion new mobile broadband subscribers will be added through 2022 - averaging to more than one million each day. Dominant access technology will be LTE (also known as 4G) in 2018, making it the fastest-growing mobile technology in history. Total traffic in mobile networks grew 70 percent between end of Q1, 2016 and end of Q1, 2017.

Two months ago, we informed the public on the contract concluded between Ericsson Nikola Tesla and Belorussian company beCloud, worth more than MHRK 76, with the aim of enabling LTE services to Belarussian users. At the press conference held in Minsk on December 14, representatives of beCloud and all other included partners concluded with satisfaction that LTE is already available in Minsk. By the end of 2016, it will be launched in commercial operation in all regional centers of Belarus, said the operator's heads.
