Belarus Approaching 75% 4G Coverage, 5G Coming Up Next

Two months ago, we informed the public on the contract concluded between Ericsson Nikola Tesla and Belorussian company beCloud, worth more than MHRK 76, with the aim of enabling LTE services to Belarussian users. At the press conference held in Minsk on December 14, representatives of beCloud and all other included partners concluded with satisfaction that LTE is already available in Minsk. By the end of 2016, it will be launched in commercial operation in all regional centers of Belarus, said the operator's heads.

On December 8, 2016, Ericsson Nikola Tesla company and the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing (FER), University of Zagreb, have signed a framework agreement with the aim of bridging the gap between education and labor market, as well as boosting competitiveness of the Croatian economy. This agreement is a reasonable follow-up to a longtime and fruitful collaboration between Croatia’s biggest exporter of knowledge and our most famous research and educational institution in ICT, as well as a good example of how prudent innovation management and a high-quality partnership bring a measurable competitive advantage both to the science and the economy.
Gordana Kovačević once again named the most powerful woman in Croatian business

For the twelfth consecutive year, business magazine Lider, in cooperation with Bisnode, has made a list of 300 most powerful women in Croatian business, on the basis of their managing power as one of the main criteria. Based on this, and several other “soft” criteria, a list comprising 10 most powerful women in Croatian business was made. The second year in a row, number one on the list went to Gordana Kovačić, MSc, president of Ericsson Nikola Tesla. Miodrag Šajatović, editor-in-chief at Lider, presented Gordana Kovačević the award at the “Women in Business” conference.

Ericsson Nikola Tesla Delivers the Republic of Croatia State Border Control System

Ericsson Nikola Tesla, as the leader of a consortium comprising Ericsson Nikola Tesla, Tehnomobil Securitas and Dat-Con, has signed an agreement with the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Croatia to deliver a state border control system. The contracted project amounts to nearly MHRK 48 (VAT excluded). The implementation is to start immediately and the realization is scheduled to end in January 2017.
