The trial run for eHealth Record and eHZZO portal for patients that starts from 1 September is a further demonstration of the latest eHealth technological solutions being introduced into the national healthcare system, all to the benefit of Croatian patients, healthcare professionals and the system as a whole. These important steps on the way to extended digitalisation of the healthcare system will ensure a higher standard of health services, better controlled and rational operations, that is, the sustainability of the healthcare system.

Sales revenues grew by 7% year-on-year as a result of sales growth in the Ericsson market and in the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) market. The Ericsson market registers a continued growth due to business expansion and taking on of new responsibilities in Research & Development and Managed Services segments. In view of that, we continued hiring and employed 119 experts in Ericsson Nikola Tesla Group in H1 2016.
Ericsson a key player in defining the 5G manifesto for Europe

Ericsson has been a key driver in the “5G Manifesto for timely deployment of 5G in Europe”, delivered to EC Commissioner Oettinger in early July. Ericsson has been one of the key players in telecoms and in sectors in which 5G technologies will help build innovative products and services. The manifesto will be considered in the 5G Action plan that will be presented in September from the EC.

Anyone that has in any way participated in the activities regarding healthcare informatization in Croatia over the past decade, is aware of the demanding transformation journey made towards what is today one of the most successful national e-Health systems in Europe. Being aware of all the challenges that needed to be dealt with on such a journey, made engaging in a similar endeavor in a foreign country rather bold, which is why we can be extremely proud of the fact that we have recently successfully finished the project of Integrated Health Information System of Armenia.
The Red Cross and Ericsson Nikola Tesla Help Children's Hospital Srebrnjak

Along with the pleasant, newly decorated space at the third department, young patients at the Children's Hospital Srebrnjak received today a donation of didactic toys and tablets. The donation was made to the manager of the hospital Boro Nogalo, PhD, by the President of Ericsson Nikola Tesla company Gordana Kovačević, MSc. This has been a part of the activity, which started during this year’s event under the name Hrvatska volontira (Croatia Volunteers), within the framework of a project named Bolnica Bezbolnica (Hospital Without Pain), which is a part of an international project called Smiling Hospital. Since 2011, Bolnica Bezbolnica project has been organized by the Croatian Red Cross. Today, representatives of the Croatian Red Cross donated picture books and other books to the hospital, and Robert Markt, the Executive President of the Croatian Red Cross, handed the President of Ericsson Nikola Tesla letters of gratitude for the participation of the employees and the entire company in the project.
