Business results of Ericsson Nikola Tesla Group in H1 2018

Gordana Kovačević, the President of Ericsson Nikola Tesla comments: “In H1 2018, Ericsson Nikola Tesla Group sales revenue amounted to MHRK 762.4, up by 7.5% year-over-year, mainly driven by higher sales revenue in the domestic market. In line with expectations, services to Ericsson record a growth, primarily due to new responsibilities in R&D as well as in the Services and Solutions Expert Centers. We have continued to invest in preparation for introducing 5G mobile communication systems, in competence development, and in testing systems. During H1, we hired 142 new experts, primarily in R&D in the field of 5G, and thus at the end of H1 Ericsson Nikola Tesla Group had 3,113 employees.

Annual General Meeting of Ericsson Nikola Tesla Joint-Stock Company held

The Annual General Meeting of Ericsson Nikola Tesla joint-stock company was held at the Company’s headquarters, Krapinska 45, Zagreb, on Wednesday, June 20, 2018. The equity capital represented at the AGM was HRK 88,071,000, corresponding to 66.15 % of the total Company's equity, thus satisfying the legal conditions for the AGM to make valid decisions. In the presence of a notary public, the AGM proceedings were conducted by Snježana Bahtijari, the AGM Chairperson appointed by the Supervisory Board of the Company. LM Ericsson, the major shareholder, was represented by Mats Andrén.
Agreement signed on the allocation of MHRK 20 to increase energy efficiency in the company

At the ceremony of signing a grant agreement by the Minister of Environment and Energy Tomislav Ćorić, PhD, the Director of the Environmental Protection and Energy Efficiency Fund Dubravko Ponoš and the 77 users, the decision on financing selected proposals submitted under the “Increasing Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Sources in Manufacturing Industries” call for proposals in the framework of the “Competitiveness and Cohesion” Operational Program 2014-2020, was officially confirmed. On this occasion, Ericsson Nikola Tesla was awarded a maximum of HRK 20 million for a complex and valuable project, which will eventually result in savings amounting to over 4.6 million kWh and in a reduction in CO2 emissions by nearly 1400 tonnes on a yearly basis.
